How we price
What's Worthy uses AI to estimate what an item is worth on the resale market. Here's how a valuation comes together.
-
Identify the item. From your photo or written description, the AI works out the brand, model, and key attributes, and says when it is guessing versus reading something visible.
-
Assess condition and attributes. The AI estimates the condition and notes the details that affect value, such as material, size, and visible wear. When you describe an item instead of photographing it, the condition is based on your description.
-
Compare typical selling prices. The AI looks at typical resale activity across marketplaces like eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and Facebook Marketplace for similar items.
-
Recommend the best platform. It suggests where you are likely to get the best return after fees, and names other platforms worth considering.
Prices are estimates, shown as ranges. A range reflects how comparable items tend to sell, not a single guaranteed price or any specific past sale.
Confidence level. High, Medium, or Low reflects how much comparable market activity exists for items like yours. Low confidence means similar items sell rarely, so the range is a rough guide.
What's Worthy is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any marketplace, and we do not have access to any marketplace's private sales data. Estimates are for guidance only.
